Eureka! was established in 1992 and has gone on to become one of the best family-friendly attractions in Halifax. Popular exhibits include All About Me, which deals with the human body, and the Wonder Walk, which is a fun-packed sensory trail. Set within a 19th-century weaving mill, it contains several working machines that were built between 1850-1930 and all of which were either constructed or used in Halifax. You\u2019ll find \u2018Sadie\u2019 in the basement \u2013 a large oil engine that\u2019s responsible for powering many of the museum\u2019s drills, lathes, and planes.
